Club Volunteer Coordinators

Given that volunteers are essential to the effective running of netball clubs it is recommended that clubs consider appointing a club volunteer coordinator. This type of role can make a big difference to the recruitment and retention of volunteers as it ensures that the area of volunteer development is given a strong lead from within the club.

England Netball has put together a FREE Club Volunteer Coordinator Support Package for new and existing Club Volunteer Coordinators.

The support package includes:

• Information on the role of a Club Volunteer Coordinator
• Guidance on the safe and effective recruitment of club volunteers
• Guidance on recognising and rewarding your club volunteers
• Guidance on training and developing your club volunteers
• Volunteer Role Descriptions
• Templates for you to utilise
• Volunteer thank you cards
• Discount on the brand new Running Sports 'Club Volunteer Coordinator' workshop
• Quarterly E-Newsletter
• Regular updates and support from England Netball's Volunteer Manager
