Youth League Umpire Co-Ordinator

Our organisation
South Staffordshire County Netball Association is the county association established to co-operate with England Netball and the Region to promote and encourage the game of netball. The committee is made up of volunteers and covers South Staffordshire and the Black Country which includes Sandwell, Walsall, Dudley and Wolverhampton.

Prerequisites
  • Must be over the age of 16
  • Must have access to an email/internet
  • This is a voluntary position (travelling expenses within reason can be claimed)

Role description
  • To co-ordinate and arrange umpires on a weekly basis for County Youth League fixtures from September to December
  • To co-ordinate and arrange umpires on a weekly basis for County Youth Festival from January to February
  • To ensure cover is found for any umpires unable to fulfil their scheduled fixture
  • To promote up-skilling opportunities, in particular umpiring courses
  • To create a database of umpires actively officiating at the Youth League(s)
