Back to Netball League 2016 - 2017

Updated Announcements: December 2016:

Congratulations to West Brom and Dream Team who will now move up to division 1. All Stars and Wood Green will replace them in Division 2
Due to a increase in hire of the hall cost I will be increasing match fees to £24 per match this is £3.50 per player for a team of 7 .
RULE REMINDER: Only 1 player from another team can be a sub for your team, if more than 1 player is needed for a team you MUST contact Zoe arrange subs

A few things to note:

Matches are MONDAYS
Matches start on Monday 19st September
Venue: George Salter Academy (B70 9AP)
Round 1 : 7pm Round 2: 7.45pm
We have decided to run as two separate divisions (this will minimise the chance of heavily one sided games). All teams will play everyone in their division once. After 4 matches 2 teams from Division 1 will go down and 2 teams for Division 2 will go up. Then the divisions will be reformed and both divisions will play against each other again to be named as champions of their divisions.

Important Notices:

Matches will start on automatic timing. No allowances will be made for teams who are late on court.
There will be time prior to the match when your team can warm up
Please ensure all players have on their positional bibs before taking the court
Spectators are asked to stand behind the bars in the viewing area.
The conduct and behaviour of spectators is the responsibility of the team manager
Spectators should be aware of the Code of Conduct prior to attending matches
Please remember that the umpires are mainly beginner umpires.
Under no circumstances should umpires be criticised or challenged by anyone - Players, coaches or paretns regarding their decisions - in netball the Umpires decision is final!
Anyone who repeatedly contravenes this rule will be asked to leave the venue and players may face suspension from their next match.
Players should be regularly attending Back to Netball Sessions
All Players must be 16+
A maximum of 2 "league players" are allowed to play in any one team
No players who play in the Summer League Division 5 or higher should play in the Back to Netball League at all
If teams are found to be playing league players higher than Division 5 they will forfeit the match.
