National Schools Championships
Each year England Netball runs the National School Competitions which sees Schools from around England competing for this national title of U14, U16 or U19 National Schools Champions. Each County will invite locals schools to compete in the competition usually in November time, with the runners-up and winners being invited to the Regional round at the end of January. The winners and runners-up of which are then invited to the National competition usually held in February.

County Schools Tournament
Oldbury Academy School was the venue for the South Staffordshire County Round of National Schools Netball Tournament, organised and delivered by South Staffordshire County Netball Association on Saturday 26th November. The event saw some fabulous netball being played by all teams.
Six schools will now go forward to the West Midlands Regional Round, to be held at Bromsgrove School, Worcestershire on Sunday 29th January 2017 and will hopefully progress to National Finals, which take place in May 2017. The schools who will be representing the County are as follows: Wolverhampton Girls High School (U14 winner), Streetly Academy (U14 runner up), Aldridge School (U16 winner), Streetly Academy (U16 runner up), George Salter Academy (U19 winner) and King Edward VI Sixth Form College (U19 runner up).
